| Features |
Description |
| Windows
environment |
User friendly
(click to select). Importing, opening and file saving
locations |
| Auto/instant file
preview |
Easily identifies
files by showing thumbnail photo of file prior to opening |
| Auto cut
sequencing |
Recognizes inner
and outer cuts automatically and selects optimum tool path (
user can override). |
| Auto polylines |
Automatically
joins segmented lines to create continuous polylines. |
| Auto lead-ins |
Automatically
inserts lead-in cuts for smooth transition to cut lines
(length and position is a simple step to manually alter). |
| Travel and Cut
speed ramping |
Allows higher cut
speeds and direction changes on complex shapes without undue
stress to drive mechanisms and/or improvising cut quality. |
| S-curve
acceleration |
Rather than
straight line ramping, a more gradual entry and exit is
introduced so a quicker acceleration and deceleration can be
realized. |
| Smart speed
algorithm |
Coupled with
S-Curve acceleration, Smart Speed Algorithm allows smooth
complex detail cutting at a high rate of speed. |
| Auto tool offset |
Simply specify
width of cut and program will compensate (offset cut) for
accurate overall cut size |
| Group nesting and
array |
Simply select a
part or arrange a group of parts, then horizontally or
vertically array multiples of selection |
| Costing analysis
and calculation |
Automatically
calculates time for traveling, pierce dwells and cutting.
Simply input cost values for those operations and view the
total. Perfect for job costing and customer quotes. |
| dxf, .plt, .bmp,
.ps (eps), etc. |
Reads vector
files as well as automatically traces/converts raster files to
vector |
| Optimized
material support points |
Optionally
locates best points to position material supports…..very
cool. Prior to running the cut sequence, one click will move
the machine so that the torch pinpoints optimum, predetermined
material support points, pause to let you position your
support, then move to the next predetermined point, etc. |
| Manual G-code
input option |
For those who
wish to access and manually modify or input G-code, the option
is there. |
| Drawing module |
Included in the
program, this feature allows you to easily create and edit
your own parts drawings for instant sketch and cut. |
| KAM smooth arc
travel |
For smoother
cuts, radiuses in geometric drawings are recognized as arc's
around a center point instead of a series of segments. |
| Instant numbers
and lettering |
Simply choose
your font, type what you want, then cut it out! Again,
lead-in's and cut sequencing is automatic |
| Unlimited Fonts |
When choosing a
font, the selection includes every true type font that’s
available on your computer, and maintains a list of your
favorites (most used). Cut ready instantly including inside,
outside cuts and leadins. |
| Bezier algorithm |
As part of the
program, fonts are automatically converted to smooth, spline
curves rather than (as are usually created), joined line
segments. Bezier
(B-Curve) splines are never segmented. With most other
software, curves, splines, circles and arcs are made up of
several (hundreds or even thousands of) line segments. These
segments not only often result in less than smooth radius
cuts, but also increase the size of the file and eat up a huge
amount of processor memory when manipulating (especially
complex) drawings. For instance, when selecting a drawing to
move, scale, rotate, etc., your processor has to carry with it
a huge amount of information through the command because of
the multitude of single line segments. B-Curves have only 3
point per radius to process. Therefore, any of those commands
become instant and easy for even a small computer to process
and follow, even with a phantom follow feature. It's also the
reason why it has made it (through our program) a simple and
instant task to preview when opening files. The reason most
other software does not have this feature is that G-Code normally
cannot read B-Curve information |

|
There are also a multitude of other features
too numerous to mention all, including:
Automatic locating and positioning of file in
cut zone, Quick zoom to cut area, Quick selection, reverse selection,Scaling,
mirror, rotate, etc.
